Dolphins

If you believe the weather forecasts you would never do anything. My brother and sister in law were visiting so we ignored the forecast and headed for Portland Marina. The weather was beautiful but not particularly warm. So a cup of coffee and a picnic lunch and then we set out across Weymouth Bay We  had  a lovely sail over to Bowleaze and then turned round and headed back.  There was enough breeze for a steady 5 to 6.5 knots. It was a soldiers wind one tack there and one tack back. The only other boats we saw outside the harbour was a large crowd of Optimists.  crew in cockpit

We had just dropped our sails and were motoring into the marina when we were joined by a dolphin. What a lovely end to an enjoyable day
